Bath time

Bathing, foaming and removing fleas was the order of the day for our beautiful princess, Ella today!
We believe in getting pet cats used to bathing and blow drying from the youngest of age so she is as comfortable as a cat can get (which is pretty good) when being pampered. She sits up, quite still, in the bath tub and allows us to scrub, foam and pick through her long fur for fleas. She only had about 4 though. That's the good thing about regular preening, it basically eradicates pests. When done Monica popped her out of the tub and proceeded to blow dry. We weren't sure what her reaction would be because being winter we hadn't done it for a while. (hence the fleas) But she was really good and not at all like the old days. She would sit in the corner and be really fierce at it! Was simply terrified! Very different from our big boy, Bobby. He's always been great with everything compared to her! She required much more training. They are all individual in their needs and personalities.

She is one sparkly, fluffy cat now. But she is still licking herself! "Got to get rid of that naaasty, dirty, shampoo" she says.

Well that's enough jaw flapping about our darlings for one day! You'll be thinking that I might soon turn into a cat!
